Looking at photos this looks similar to the upper hinged portion of the armour on the pilots seat of the Stirling apart from the section with the TR9F plate attached which appears to wrap around unlike the pictures in situ that I could find. Anyone confirm or give an alternative id. I’m not intending to pick the forums collective brain prior to advertising it for sale either, in case anyone jumps to that conclusion. Rather the opposite in fact.

Doesn’t look like a Stirling head armour plate, more like Fairey Battle.
