DH108 Reconstruction

Has there ever been an attempt to recreate a DH108 replica using a redundant Vampire fuselage, in what could be a relatively easy built replica?.

I toyed with the idea a little while ago – although the fuselage is mostly the same, the wings are very different from anything else. You could recover some parts, particularly landing gear from dead T11 wings, but to make them well would be pretty involved.

I am aware of a guy in Australia who is collecting parts to fit out a fuselage as a 108.
