I was watching this live on the internet.
I wonder if this was the aircraft that pulled up tailing smoke. I thought it was part of the display and a `missing man` tribute.
Must have been pretty scary but professionally handled.
Interesting reading the pilots account and the perception he had of what was going on.
Something us armchair enthusiasts have little understanding of.

Very useful safety aspects briefed as freeze frame inserts,confirmed my usual work flying rig of leather flight gloves and Nomex suit is a good choice.
