Battle of Britain participants.

Can anybody on here confirm if any participants from the Battle of Britain has actually reached the age of 100?. I have scoured the list of pilots long and hard and i have not found a single one who lived to the magical age. If the figure of 1578 pilots from Fighter Command who survived the war is correct then surely at least one of them should reach 100?. Over to you guys…..

Thanks Ged. When he passed away in 2007 who would have thought that he would be the only participation to reach 100!. What are the odds on that?. Guys thank you for your response to my question.

Hi
Howard Duart made it to 101.
His daughter asked him what he wanted for his 100th birthday and he asked for some dancing girls.
She arranged it!!
I am unaware of any others.

I was sure I’d replied to this earlier…. very odd! Anyway, I’m sure I saw an obituary in the last year for someone who’d managed their century – maybe Sqn Ldr Scramble would know, he’s usually first off the mark with obituary posts?
