Everything's all white in Canada….

I find the U-Boat crew posing with the Polar Bear very sad.
However a white Spitfire would make an interesting change. Were Spitfires ever painted white?
Perhaps some of the target range aircraft?

At least one, but not where you would expect, North Africa not the Arctic.

Although tomorrow we hit 17C, so a few will thaw.

I thought at first they were going to repaint SL721 like this:
