Aircraft ID

Afternoon gents, this pic popped up on one of the facebook groups I follow.

Here is the text that accompanies it.

“To all spotters and engineers past and present. This is an old photo of my grandad (5th from the left) his name was Jack(John ) Bingham. we don’t know much about his career all we have is this photo. As an ex RAF techie myself I’d love to know what the aircraft is and if anyone knows the squadron. if anyone knows any other member in this photo it would be great to find out more. thanks.”

I’m sure someone on here can ID the aircraft, possibly even the sqn etc.
