The museum is now undergoing major redevelopment work. The old site which is due to be demolished soon still has alot of the original features which we can take for the new site [but still original].
If anyone is able to help with dismantling or transporting in the near future it would be appreciated. If you could contact Jason Webb ,Jason p51 d on here http://forum.keypublishing.com/member.php?2880-Jasonp51d
Many thanks 🙂

“APPEAL: Are you an electrician or a plumber or are you generally handy at DIY? In a few weeks time are old site in Bottisham village will be demolished and we have permission to strip as many of the original fixtures and fittings as possible. We need help in saving as many doors, windows, toilets, basins, light fittings and switches as we can. It is an incredibly original site and it would be a great shame if as much possible couldn’t be saved. I can’t be precise over timing as yet as it will depend on the owner but please get in touch and let me know if you might be able to help.”

As Gary says any help greatly appreciated. Our old site at Tunbridge Lane is being demolished and we want to save as many of the fixtures (windows, doors, light fittings, switches, toilets, basins etc) and fittings as possible. We can then use them at the new site on Wilbraham Rd which we hope to make as original as possible. Please get in touch if you can be of any assistance – jasonwebb@bottishamairfieldmuseum.org.uk

Please see these artist impressions of our new buildings.
