The pilot certainly looks the part – a WWII veteran, I wonder?
My French is pretty rusty having being rarely used for many years lol but I’m fairly certain that the commentator says to the pilot at 3m30 “You were in the Battle of Britain and D-day” Sounded like he called him Pete (possibly Piet?).

A great find Scotavia, thanks for posting. Very crisp black and white footage, and interesting to see the anti-aircraft guns in action. The pilot certainly looks the part – a WWII veteran, I wonder?

Good find !
Quality of air-air filming is not the greatest, but never mind.
