For those of you with an interest in the BAC One-Eleven a forum / group is now up and running on Facebook. It is called “BAC 1-11 – Past & Present”. I am hoping that as many of you as possible will start posting historic images as well as sharing some great stories about this historic British Airliner which is now nearly 52 years old. The forum was previously known as “Save BAC 1-11 Group” but the new name hopefully reflects the main aim of the group.

The 1-11 at Brooklands Museum needs some parts. Namely: 1) Co-pilot side window as now badly frosted and 2) rear stair strut (starboard side) which forms part of the lifting process.
