Does anybody know how the rebuild of Gladiator N5518 is progressing at the Fleet Air Arm Museum.
I think the frame was restored for the museum by Retro Air and Track in Gloucester but looking at pictures on the net dated between 2010 and 2014 it doesn’t seem, on the face of it, to have progressed very much since then.

Pity, has it been sold or going back into storage?

The Fleet Air Arm Museum has pulled the plug on the Barracuda, or rather, on the amazing work that the Bluebird team was doing. Bit of a sore spot.
The “Barra” left their shop today (Saturday Feb 7).
A real shame and a loss to any enthusiast. The work being done was nothing short of ground breaking.
Sorry for the hijack.
