I have just read a very interesting article about the five Spitfires the Royal Thai Air Force had.Three are accountable for and two airframes are missing .For those interested the article(thread)can be found on http://www.thaivisa.com. Some photos there as well.Apparently the missing one has history as it was the first Spitfire to “tip”a V1!

Ah the missing Phrae Spitfire. Yes fully accounted and illustrated in Vol II of the ‘boo’.
