Plane ID-Help please

At first glance I thought that the planes in the background were Typhoons/Tempests but the air scoop doesn`t look the right shape and the lack of cannon/rockets leads me to believe that they aren`t Typhoons.
I am trying to date this photo and I need some help, the pilot is wearing a Beadon suit which was issued late war but which saw extensive use post war.
My gut feeling is that it is a post war photo but any help would be appreciated.

Possibility that could be at Heston?? Out of focus gasholder behind starboard undercarriage of Firefly by pilot’s head….semi-terraced houses in Wentworth Rd Southall just this side of the Grand Union Canal canal….possibly just post-war after Fairey’s were required to move from their airfield at Heathrow

You are most welcome, that’s one of the great things about this forum. If you have a question there is a very good chance someone on here will know the answer or be able to put you in touch with someone who does.

Looking at the placement of the intake to the side of the main one on this pic, I reckon Brian is spot on.
