In Yefim Gordon’s excellent book, “Mig-23/27 Flogger” the author states that the VPAF’s 925th Fighter Regiment received 25 Mig-23ML’s c.1985-1986. Aside from this reference, I have seen nothing to substantiate that Mig-23’s flew in Vietnam under Vietnamese colors. Can anyone shed some light on whether Vietnam had the 23 in their inventory?
