Yesterday this video clip was posted on you tube by MeierMotors / Matthias Dorst. It was shot by Vintage V12 at Tehachapi USA. This is the engine for the Bf 109 G of Jerry Yagen under restoration at MeierMotors. Enjoy!

Slightly OT, but I’ve rather lost track of the situation with the Russell Group 109E. Is there any recent news on it, or is it still being offered for sale? The Hurricane went to Australia, but got smashed up in transit and is now under repair, but I can’t remember hearing anything about the 109E recently.
As of today, still “pending” :

I had the warbirds CD with Black Six on it. We played the mass flypast through a PA and watched everyone come rushing out 😉
Trouble was I leant it to somebody to copy and never got it back

Has anyone else got the Black 6 audio CD? An Old technology medium by today’s standards but the sound is amazing. And it comes with an interesting engineering discussion by the restorers.
Bad news about the Hurricane, I’ve heard nothing about the 109 Mike.

Hopefully someone is doing or has done professional recordings of all the rare engines still running today as in the future they may only be a memory.
