Not sure why this is all over social media again today. This is a DM article from a couple of years ago. The medals sold in March 2013 for £155,000 to pay for his care. This was always a private family matter.

Our wonderful politicians stand back and allow this sort of thing to happen, but keep on paying out to the wasters and scroungers.
