Does it appear to be a single coat? It could well be bog standard RAF “UP10” universal grey primer.

Correct….We are just using PPG etch prime in grey for the Hawker Demon..

Hi all,

Really struggling to find a modern equivalent of the Air Ministry grey/ blue paint colour as used on instrument packing boxes etc. Does anyone happen to know what the correct colour is please?

I’d have a look at dark Admiralty Grey, which is the colour used on modern cockpits
