Jules Evenhart book – Dornier DO17 Cole End 26-8-40

Hi all,

I’ve been trying to contact Jules Evenhart but have an old email address i think. I’m trying to establish if he ever published a proposed book which featured a DO17z that came down at Cole End Wimbish on 26/8/40. It may have featured some ‘taken at the time’ relics from my collection.

Any help appreciated.

I can’t help with that, Richard, but I’d be interested in hearing what you have/know. As I’m sure you are aware two Dorniers came down close to Debden that day, and a relation (now deceased) apprehended two German airman when they landed on his farm at Great Sampford. And of course if he ever did publish…
