Griffon Spitfire Cowlings and Firewall Available?

Hi, I’m after a set of used cowlings and any firewall parts for a Griffon Spit project. Rejected parts from previous rebuilds would be fine.

Anyone have anything available (or any low-back fuselage frames or any other parts for that matter?)

Have some parts available for trade.

Hi, Sadly I don’t have any parts to trade. I was going to sell my front perspex window which is from a Mk19 but have now changed my mind as I am going to build a low back MK16 and I hope I can use it for that. I have some frame drawings from frame five to eleven, but I don’t have any from frame 13-19.

Trouble is most hang onto them. Because they are so recognisable

Thanks Tony – never been a great fan of fibreglass for either boats or aeroplanes – horrible stuff!

Given the number of Spits previously rebuilt there will be a ratty set kicking around somewhere……..

There was some fibreglass cowls on ebay a couple of years ago, this refers to them, but I don’t know if they sold
