I have got a wheel hub complete with axle. Could anybody give me an idea to which aircraft it might have been fitted to.
It is made by Goodyear (Gt. Britain) with the Assy. Number 30370.
It is designed for a tubed tyre with the valve hidden behind a plate, secured with a circlip.

Yes, thank you for the info.
All I have to find now is the rest of an Auster Mk.9:eagerness:

Hi CS,
I have p/n 30370 listed as Auster Mk 9 in my copy of AP1086 (Sec/Ref is 27A/3245). It also lists that this p/n has been superseeded by p/n E.30996 (Sec/Ref 27A/4258).
Hope that helps.
Regards
Dave

I wonder if this might be a glider main wheel, although the hub diameter looks quite small. Might just be from a UK made glider, EoN or Slingsby? Many apologies if this is all quite wrong, but I love these ‘Flypast’ what-am-I puzzles.

Or maybe a Blimp mainwheel? 😉
