So not all buried aircraft are myths

Read a smashing story in this months Flypast- Buried Spitfire found! This is accompanied with photos of a complete wing and propeller spinner.

Maybe it’s a 1 in a million, but at last one story has a ring of truth.

I fully understand doubts from anyone- especially with the Burma Spitfire debacle, but this one goes out to all those who have faith that these mythical aircraft do exist.

While they haven’t got complete remains yet, they believe they have located the site for the rest of the aircraft.
