Beaufort Bomber aircrew reunion

Friday September 19 at the Bentleigh RSL in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne saw a large number of surviving Beaufort aircrew and their families get together for a reunion. The Museum took along the restored cockpit section of A9-150 which will be duly fitted to A9-13 as that project moves forward.

The day was a huge success and we were luck enough to meet one crew member who flew A9-150 (and also crashed two Beauforts in three days) and also one other who flew A9-13 on beer runs to the troops !

Thanks to Tony Clark for inviting us along for the day. We are glad it contributed to the event and rekindled many happy memories for those who flew them.
