Nice to hear some of you are polite and pretend to pay attention even if you have seen it before. It used to bug the heck out of me when I was a cart tart doing the manual demo and having people talk all the way through it or holding up their broadsheets to ensure every knows how often they fly by their ignoring of the safety demo. Rest assured in an emergency, the same people are giving themselves neck strain listening to the revision demo. It is a legal requirement to ensure all pax are briefed. It may not look too macho doing it but i know noone would have cared when they need the info for real.

Now I’m up the front seats, I always acknowledge the fact that my pax have probably heard the demo many times, possibly even that morning but please refresh your memory and allow your fellow pax the same privilege. Just courtesy really. Who knows, one day you may need it for real?
