With the disappearance of the “Spitfire wing found” thread, one wonders if the wing will ever see light of day again, given that Spitfires have been rebuilt from less, (than nothing) one can only imagine the sound of cheque books flapping in an Orkney gale…….

Well it will ‘see the light of day’ in both FlyPast and Britain At War November issues we are told.
But if the OP choses to pull his post then there is little we on the Forum can do about it.
