What’s a Devon/Dove one worth- we’re selling our Dove and it may get parted out if there’s no interest in it as a whole.

…..for an airworthy Spitfire, Bruce?

cheers

Yes, a blow down bottle for a Cessna 310 will work, as will certain emergency oxy bottles for ejection seats. They are all getting scarce though.

After a few years, the hydraulic fluid weeping from the shuttle valves gets into them, and knackers the valve. I’ve found a few in my time, but other options are available.

If I remember correctly the Dove/Heron bottles are larger than the original Spitfire type. However, they are fitted and preferred due to the larger capacity. We too are after one, possibly two, if available.

My last lot went a couple of years ago (I think I had about 14 of them at one time)I [I]may[I] have some detail spares, but they would be somewhere in the pile.

It might be worth giving Devonair a try but I wouldn’t hold out much hope in finding any complete ones.

Regards
