Made my first visit to Solway today and have to say what a cracking little museum. If anyone is in the area I highly recommend it. It’s not too big with about 9 or 10 frames but some really well done information inside and loads of stuff about rocket testing at nearby Spadeadam that I’d never seen before.
The Canberra and Sea Prince were both open and the admission includes a guided tour of the Vulcan which was thoroughly enjoyable.
People must work really hard at these places this places for relatively little reward so just to say it’s well appreciated by people like me, thank you.
