At a wreath laying ceremony 4 years ago he was surrounded by school children asking what he got his medals for. “I can’t remember now, it was a long time ago.” I had hoped he would return next year. R.I.P sir.

I finished reading Peter Vachers book on Hurricane R4118 only this week.
For those who don’t know, Bob Foster flew R4118 on occasion during the Battle of Britain.
