Do you have photos of the rivets?
Sorry no

Hi Jason
Many thanks for taking the time to look through the AGS bits.
I would be interested in acquiring the 2BA “tall and short” fixed anchor nuts, & the 4BA fixed anchor nuts.
Can you please let me know what AGS number the turnbuckles on the right are ?.
The length of the rivets is not too important as I can cut them down to the lengths I need.
Could you please tell me how many of the anchor nuts etc you have, and what you are after for them ?.
Cheer’s.
Bob.

Hello Bob,
My sincere apologies for taking so long but have been very busy…hoping some of the above are what you seek for your project.
Regarding rivets there were about 6000 of various sizes/lengths and none of them were marked AGS sorry.
Regards
Jason

Hi Jason
At the moment, the only drawings I have are those for the Bristol Bombay which show the AGS numbers and sketched outlines of them.
If you also come across any early AGS turn buckles in your search, I may be interested in acquiring some.
Many thanks.

Hi Mike
They are shown on the drawings as captive nuts with flanges at 180 degrees “inline with the nut”, I believe the part number is B.G.4 “Simmonds”. They are attached to the panels with 3/32″ rivets (AGS 259-1). I would be pleased to acquire a handfull, or a box full should you have any.
Let me know what you need in the way of AGS stuff & I will see if I have any spare to my own needs.
I saw the Anson at Damyns hall, but didn’t see you “guess you were hiding LOL”.

Are the 4BA nut plate parts another name for captive nuts, Bob? If so, I may have some surplus.
Any AGS that Sopwith.7f1 doesn’t have listed but you may have as surplus, I’d be interested in acquiring.
