Brooklands Aviation Day – 21st September 2014

Whilst at Brooklands yesterday I picked up a leaflet advertising an aviation day at the museum on the 21st September 2014. Amongst events such as Bomber command book and memorabilia signing and aero engine runs were other events listed as Air Displays and Visiting aircraft.
Question is does Brooklands have a functional runway? And does anyone know what aircraft will be displaying or visiting? I don’t seem to be able to find anything on the museums website other than the general overview of the event. Thanks in advance.

Brooklands certainly does have an ‘operational’ grass strip, it’s on the Mercedes Benz site, right in front of the car park where you park to then go into Brooklands. Don’t forget, the Vimy replica landed there, for starters.
