Hi all,
A few years back there was a photo doing the rounds of a substantially complete Wellington wreck siiting on the seabed. It popped up once or twice in posts by a chap that made a lot of wild claims about finding sunken aircraft wrecks, so while it intrigued me I never bothered asking many questions.
How surprised was I when it suddenly showed up on a Greek wreck diving site?
Here’s the link…. enjoy.

A comeback tour!
Part of me wonders how good that Wellington would look in Coastal Command colours at the side of WR963…
With the exception of flying boats, are there any WW2 aircraft currently on display in the UK in Coastal Command colours?
I’ve always thought that it would be nice if Sally B did a season in Coastal Command colours. 😎
This Wellington would look great parked up next to YAMs Halifax. 🙂

I don’t mind at all, but they’re not my photos so do be careful! Copyright is marked on them by the photographer.

That looks in remarkably good condition.
Perhaps the basis of a future airworthy Wellington? Well, I can dream. 😀
