I think I was there and have a photo of me in the cockpit of meteor with f/O Goodwin stencilled on the side.I also had a flight in an Auster – my first ever flight. I was 11 at the time . Trying to iidentify type / squadron of meteor to make a model.

Thanks Sideslip. Will try there. It was many moons ago but the photo brought it back. I can almost smell it ! Have seen aerial shot of that open day and think I can pick out my father and I.
