North London Flying School have announced the cessation of operations at Panshanger on September 20th. Presumably this is the first stage in the ‘conversion’ of this wartime airfield into a housing estate of some 700+ dwellings.
Just what the area needed – more traffic, congestion, and with local schools bursting at the seams.
