Blind flying hood stays, but from which aircraft ??

I’ve recently been given a box of aircraft items which include WWII German engine parts and Wellington bits and bobs. Two of the items are marked with a label stating ‘Blind flying hood stays’ as shown in the pictures.
I have no idea what these items are or more imortantly what aircraft they come from. The only number I can find on them is 4C184 because someone has been over generous with green paint (not me!!!)

Anyone have ideas ??

Aren’t they normally termed ‘screens’?

“Hood” suggests they would be from an open cockpit trainer. Tiger Moth, Magister or similar.
