Hailstorm at La Ferte, some damage to aircraft

It is being reported on Facebook that there was a heavy hailstorm at La Ferte Alais overnight, holes were punched in the hangar roofs and some damage done to aircraft including some of the 1914-18 ones. 🙁

Hi All,
Such a shame all the love and care gone into that collection of rare aircraft only to be dealt a blow they couldn’t possibly have seen coming lets hope they get back dust themselves off and continue :eagerness: Or you could blame the yanks and their HAARP playing it hours of the day and night menace to society! 😀

Extracts: Says there is major damage to hangars and aircraft. Hailstones as big as tennis balls. Tuesday early morning, 24 hours after the Whit meeting. Damage to: Luciole, Bu131, Ju52, CP80. Also damage to spares in store, offices and workshops flooded. Appealing for financial donations.
