It’s great to see her coming together, and I’m really looking forward to seeing her fly again… However, I have to say, she really is an ugly duckling!!!

A tribute to Graham Warner. Such a shame he is not around to see the aeroplane back in the air.

Lets hope for 10 or more years incident free flying this time.
She’s been under rebuild for 33 years all told!
You sure on that number? Worked started on G-BPIV around 1988, it flew again in 1993 and crashed in 2003. So that’s 16 years assuming work started straight away in 2003.
Or are you including the G-MKIV in that as well? Though I thought that took around 12 years to rebuild which makes 28 years of Blenheim/Bolingbroke restoration.
Either way, a wonderful restoration and look forward to seeing it in the air again.

To me, this “Mk.I” has to be the star of 2014.

Looks the business!
I liked the Mk.IV nose, but the Mk.I version just pips it!

I missed it in the Duxford thread, thanks for posting. Fingers crossed it won’t get bent this time.

She just looks lovely. Well done to the team, the hard work has paid off.
I must remember not to take any photos of her this time around, just in case I’m a jinx- she had her last mishap just after I photographed her last!

I think the Blenheim has earned her own thread- so leave it where it is!

As with all things Duxford-related, it was covered in the main thread.
