Dassault Mirage IIIE 538 was presented to the Yorkshire Air Museum by the French Air Force. The aircraft last flew in 1993 and has recently received a long-overdue repaint by the Victor team boss, Andre Tempest. These pictures are from Andre, and show he’s done a cracking job of it!

And to save anyone asking the inevitable question about when the other Mirage is due to arrive, we still don’t know!

Blue your a tad premature on this. It isn’t quite finished several details need to be applied, for example the nose wheel door numbers. Still an excellent job by Andre once again.
