I was flying to New Delhi and lost my connection in FRA (thanks Spanair). I had an eco ticket (the cheapest I found).
The LH ticket agent wasn’t very nice but she was very efficient and in five minutes had me rebooked via CPH (otherwise I would have to wait until the next day).
I had to wait something like four hours at FRA for my flight to CPH and although I don’t like the airport, it was motorshow time (my other passion) and a lot of cars were exposed in the airport.
But then I discovered CPH and what a wonderful airport this is.
I had to wait six hours there but they were pure delight.
Sorry, I come to the flight, I was in first in a SAS 767 and this was so enjoyable.
Saldy they’ve stopped flying to New Delhi wonder why as it is always impossible to find tickets cause I would have loved to fly with their 330 and 340 there even in eco.
Sorry for being so long but bare me a few more lines. Last year my wife was flying to Mexico with a non-rev ticket with LH.
In FRA she told the boarding staff that it was her birthday with her being so lucky that just at that moment the Captain was passing by. He ordered them to put her in first and during the flight he went out of the cockpit to offer her a bottle of Champagne.
I am so jealous.
For the return she had to wait three days to find place but then she flew in business which is not so bad for a 100 euros (MAD-FRA-MEX return ticket).
