We had not had a chance to go and see how our BA Swallow was going as it is restored back to airworthy status. Today we got a good look, very happy indeed ! As many of you will know, this example of the BA Swallow is fitted with a Pobjoy Cataract engine.
Couple of pics of VH-UUM for you in the restoration hangar.
Cheers

Ewan, it’s going to look great in the air. Here’s G-ADPS, a Pobjoy Niagara III powered Swallow 2 a few years ago

Do you by any chance have copies of the manufacturers drawings for the Swallow ?.

Bellarine,
What mark of Cataract do you have? Is it a II. Our III has some what complicated rocker boxes with covers, but they give a nice completed look to the cylinders.
Any ideas about inter-cylinder baffles and exhaust snouts, all of which we’re missing.
