Hawker Seafury G-CBEL

I understand that this Seafury was exported to Australia, and I wondered where exactly and also if any of our Australian forum members have any up to date photos of it. Thanks very much in advance.:)

It flew for the Warbirds Downunder Airshow at Temora in 2011, in the hands of Steve Death, but I don’t think it’s been at a show since, or much active. It was still in the metallic blue, modified as Mike’s noted, in 2011.

Right ,cheers for that, couldn’t see for sure as all shots were of the same side. I used to help John Bradshaw back in the late nineties, when he moved it to Kemble for a while. It was a really nice aeroplane, always had a soft spot for that Seafury. I wonder if John Bradshaw is still flying his Piston Provost?

It now wears Royal Australian Navy markings, rather than that funky hybrid Dutch/Canadian/Australian/RN scheme it carried when John Bradshaw had it.

Thank you Mike. Looks like the colour scheme is still the same according to your one link.
