Unidentified Engine Bearer- ID required

No clues I’m afraid but does anyone know what this rather scabby engine bearer is from?

I think I might have worked it out all for myself! A quick look this morning turned up two numbers, both of which looked like they included ‘BP’ to me…’BP’ = Boulton Paul and every picture I can find of a Defiant’s engine bearer seems to match what I have…

Cheers Foray- I’ll try just that and will come back with anything I find.

Looks Hawker but not Hurricane. Try a clean-up of one of the stainless steel joining brackets for a part number and inspection stamp.

Looking at Hawker stuff, I see what you mean- still can’t pin down a type though. Anyone else?
