T-6 Texan in Civil Air Transport (CIA airline)– question as to markings and color;

Attached is a link to a PDF showing Civil Air Transport news in the 1948-49 timeframe. Of specific interest is the ultra-rare North American Texan T-6 XT-882 on pages 44-49, apparently with the words, “The Great Civial Air Transport” written in Chinese characters on the fuselage.

Does anyone know if the plane is bare metal, overall gray, or painted aluminum. Sorry for poor qualitity of photos but these are the only known photos of a C.A.T. T-6.
