To commemorate the Market Garden operations a replica Waco glider will be build at the Klein Amerika estate in Groesbeek. Construction of the glider will start soon, with delivery expected in september in time for the Market Garden remembrance ceremonies. The glider will be revealed by soldiers of the US 82nd airborne divison.

Local newspapers are hopeless in this country at sourcing accurate aviation images. It could be the picture doesn’t represent the intended model Waco.

Interesting the photo is of a Waco CG13. I would have thought they would build a CG4.
