This pilot was shot down in 1943 in a Typhoon in an attack on a Power Station near Caen and made a POW. It was apparently the 2nd time he was shot down. In ‘Typhoon attack’ by Franks he says the 1st time was by 12 Me 109s in the Manston circuit. Can anyone enlighten me as to when this was and what Squadron he was flying with at the time? Was it during the Battle of Britain or later?
