Lancaster G-ASXX/NX611 at the 1967 Biggin Hill Air Fair. Guy Gibson’s father was there to unveil his son’s name. This was a few days before the aircraft went to RAF Scampton for the 24th anniversary of the Dams Raid.
Some interesting cabs in the background of the wing-level shot and the HAPS Proctor (G-AOAR/NP181) can be seen below the nose.
