Gentlemen,
I just received a picture of the Be2a that was built for the Royal Australian Air Force Museum. It’s now finished and will make it’s public debut on March March 1st and 2nd at the Centenary of Military Aviation at RAAF Point Cook. It will be one of the three types initially used at Point Cook in 1914 and all three will be represented at the show, the other two being a Bristol Boxkite and a Deperdussin Monoplane. Last year the Be2’s builder, Andrew Willox was recognised for his efforts with the Museums Victoria Museum Volunteer of the Year Award.
