Iam after photo’s of G-AMSN later becoming N3455 but I think reverted back and forwards between the two serials whilst at North Weald.
Iam trying to research her history so Iam after photo’s of her in Malta as SU-BFZ then photo’s of her at Exeter as EI-BSI with failed Airline Apple Air. She then passed onto Aces High at North Weald later going for Auction at Duxford. As there was no further sale she sat at North Weald and saw the british climates. She then moved to Santoft but this only lasted for a short while. She then came back to North Weald and was used in the film Band of Brothers she was dismantled and sat in a sorry state. She later moved to Red Hill for the museum there but was sold to France. Where in France is she and how much is left of her ??? What a waiste of a aircraft.
Iam wanting photo’s of her through this life of what I have mentioned and if anyone knows if there are any photo’s of her with RAF as KN673 ???
I know all the photo’s of her on

“Description: Douglas DC-3, C-47.
Origin: HBO mini-series ‘Band of Brothers’.
Date acquired : May, 2004.
This C-47 fuselage, which has recently been acquired by the CHC, was one of the props used in the filming of the TV mini-series ‘Band of Brothers’, and retains a very ‘well-worn’ look. It was used extensively in most of the D-day scenes.
It is currently being converted into a ‘walk-through’ exhibit, coupled with a full-motion flight simulator to allow you the unique opportunity of experiencing a D-day flight.”
