Cockpit glazings

Hi All,

I’m looking to have some glazings produced for a Sycamore HR.14, can anyone supply contact details for such a job?

Kind regards

Hi All,

Many thanks for all the replies/info, I’ll see what the future brings and take it from there.

The BDAC sycamore had new glazing around 5 years ago – suggest sending email to the Museum

IIRC that question was raised via BAPC a few years ago – I’m not sure of the outcome, but figures were quoted and I thought orders were placed.

Nigel, there are quite a few Sycamores in museums which would benefit from new glazing – I know our one at Dumfries certainly would. It might be more cost effective to have a batch made rather than single items. Most museums will have a member or two on here – perhaps rename the thread and see who bites?

Try White Ellerton in Borehamwood – ask for George.

Yes I know he is rather busy at the moment, but I don’t know anyone else.

Hi Varsity,

Unfortunately ‘the man’ has had a glazing unit for some 15 months now and we still have no progress with it so I’m keeping my options open for having the other glazings done.
