The only year round transatlantic flight from GLA is CO to EWR (I think the flight number actually continues on to LAX, now but as has been said, it’s probably not even the same a/c for the domestic leg), and that operates with a 757 during the winter (762 during Spring and Autumn, with the 764 operating during the summer).

My girlfriend took the Continental GLA-LAX twice last year and it was a 737-400 from Newark to LA. GLA-EWR was 757-200 first time and 767-200 next time, always a 732 EWR-LAX though.
