Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction. Do combat reports from Japanese pilots survive, and if so where would I obtain them?
I am interested in Captain Yasuhiko Kuroe.
Does anyone have a copy of the “Fighter Aces of WW2” supplement that was published with the September 2012 issue of Flypast who would be willing to send me a scan of the pages relating to Captain Kuroe?
Cheers

TEC,
I concur with DaveM2.
I also have the info you want, but I’m terribly hard-pressed for time. If you don’t mind waiting a bit (whatever that is), I’ll provide Kuroe info from one or more of these books:
Ki-43 ‘Oscar’ Aces of World War 2, by Hiroshi Ichimura (Osprey Aircraft of the Aces #85)
Japanese Army Air Force Aces 1937-45, by Henry Sakaida (Osprey Aircraft of the Aces #13
Japanese Army Air Force Fighter Units and their Aces 1931-1945, by Hata, Izawa, and Shores.
But if you post on the J-Aircrafts forum, someone will likely help you in a microsecond.
Send me a PM, if you would, to remind me.
Cheers,
Matt
