Hello folks- nearly finished the Airfix Lanc II – rather wonderfully both machines featured are Sywell-built aircraft 🙂 anyway – instructions are adamant that the large turtle deck/coaming under the canopy behind the pilot on the top of the fuselage is Matt Black, however having scrutinised lots of pics it is either painted as a continuation of the brown/green camo or is interior green….
Anyone have a definitive answer? Appreciate this is a modelling question but I don’t frequent any modelling fora so am relying on my pals in Historic!

TT, when we restored our lancaster canopy, we removed the wooden section and under all the dirt and grime was original green camo paint….
