Hi,
I have been offered a WW2 Japanese flying helmet, I have posted a picture of the type.
It is in very good condition.
I dont know much about these but would anyone have an idea of value ? Or a good site where I could get more info or reference for these type of helmets.

Hi, I have one of these and I paid £200 for it but have seen them go for up to £300 as well, yours is an Army one with the star.

As I say I dont know much about these, or indeed any helmets. A bit more research and watching ebay before I commit to anything I think, would be £200 if I want it which I dont have spare at the moment. That money could go to my other projects as well, so would have to be real bargain at that price!

Well looking through some stuff,one sold on ebay in the U.S. for£1609.00 last year but that one was fur lined, (the deluxe version). There is one on ebay in Japan at the moment with 6 days to run, and that has one bid so far for $0.99, so if you think the price you can get it for is reasonable go for it, keep it long enough and it will only go up in price.
